Getting Started

Feast on Books is a book recommendation site. It is also a hobby project from book-enthusiasts.

FoB does not collect email or other Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We just want book recommendations.
FoB does not and will not host ads.
FoB does not and will not require payment. There will probably be a "donate" option once we reach full release.
FoB uses minimal bandwidth so it can reach as many users as possible. This means there are no images of book covers on the site.
FoB is not a social site. There are no up-votes, down-votes, likes, dislikes, or comments.
The FoB developers have full-time jobs. Progress will be made as time allows.

Feast on Books is still under development. There are many features planned that have not been implemented yet. Here are a few.

Load more books. We're up to 2019.
Recommend particular public libraries to you based on your own library and ratings.
Let users bookmark and block public libraries.
More data cleaning. A lot of work has been done, a lot is left to do.
Make the GUI nicer.
